Well I just got a spot msg and the boys are back in base camp. So either they hauled ass back this morning or who knows. Still no "help" msg ~ the signal that they got a sheep and are ready to be picked up. But none the less I'm glad to get an "OK" msg.

Well its almost noon and I havent gotten a msg from the boys but I am sure they are fine. I am hoping that this means they are on a lowdown trying to get the shot on a big ram.

Well it looks like the boys are done walking at 2007 today, just over 4 miles from base camp.

Sheep Hunt 2009

Well the boys had to wait an extra day due to weather and another hunter and his son needed to be pulled out due to health reasons. So it looks like the boys got in at 0733 this morning. They are sitting between 5700-6000 feet up on the mountain and next to a glacier or well on it. And here are the first two pics from the spot gps tracking. I posted the nearest place to get weather info but it is on the other side the mtn that they are on. I will keep yall posted.....
